Content on Parmesan Factory Tours is written and maintained by the site's small independent editorial team, based in Italy. We are not travel agents, licensed tour guides, or affiliated with any single operator — our role is comparative research: pulling live listing data from the Viator Partner API, reading the published details and traveler feedback on each listing, and writing up the comparison in plain language. How pages are researched

• Pricing, duration, cancellation terms, and review counts are pulled directly from the Viator Partner API for the specific product codes referenced on each page.
• Destination facts (UNESCO status, PDO production rules, train timings) are sourced from the official consortium, UNESCO, and Trenitalia references listed in our llms.txt file.
• Every comparison page states the date its figures were last checked in a "How we verified this" note.
• Pages are updated when the underlying listing data changes meaningfully, not on a fixed arbitrary schedule.
